Product Description
The PRL High Volume Intake System for the 2015–2025 Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost and 2015–2016 3.5L EcoBoost is built to eliminate the airflow restrictions of the factory intake and deliver power where it counts. Featuring dual 4-inch roto-molded intake runners with integrated bell-mouth filters, this system ensures smooth and consistent airflow to each turbocharger—even under load.
An oversized roto-molded airbox nearly doubles the volume of the factory unit and seals directly to the hood, providing a direct cold air feed. The entire system is designed to bolt in place using factory mounting points, with OEM-level fit and finish for long-term reliability and easy serviceability. Whether towing, daily driving, or wide-open throttle, this system delivers consistent results and proven airflow gains.
Dyno testing on a 2018 3.5L EcoBoost F-150 showed consistent gains across the RPM range. On average, the PRL intake produced +8 horsepower and +12 lb-ft of torque at 4000 RPM, +8 horsepower and +8 lb-ft at 6000 RPM, and an impressive +22 horsepower and +17 lb-ft of torque at redline compared to stock. Peak improvements of +5.5 horsepower and +3.86 lb-ft were also recorded.
When paired with the PRL Intercooler, results climbed even higher: +50 horsepower and +40 lb-ft of torque at redline with power gains starting around 5300 RPM. The intake is designed not only for peak numbers but also to deliver consistent power throughout the rev range.
